The fight between Naruto and Pain lasts for seven episodes. Episode no. 163 of Naruto Shippuden, “Explode! Sage Mode” was the first episode of Naruto vs Pain. The episode premiered on June 3, 2010, and the final episode was episode no. 196 of Naruto Shippuden titled, “The Two Students”, premiered on July 22, 2010.

Naruto vs Pain Episode

Naruto entered Hidden Leaf Village but was not able to remember his surroundings. He was not even able to sense the Chakra of his many beloved including his teacher Kakashi Hatake.

Naruto realized that his pain was the reason that the villagers were in shambles and confronted him. According to Tsunade and Hokage, the protection of the village was her responsibility but she was not able to move due to her healing the entire village.

Thus, Naruto ordered Gamakichi to keep Tsunade in a safe place. After this, Naruto fights Pain head-on and knocks him out. Ko Hyuga was a Hyuga clan member, he uses his Byakugan and explains to Sakura about the entire situation. 

After this event, to summon creatures to fight Naruto, Pain uses his Animal path. Toads start the path of the animal by helping Naruto in his way. During this, Pain noticed that Naruto has mastered Sage Mode like their masters.

Knowing that Pain was also Jiraiya student he was shocked. Pain also asked to hand over his life to preserve the greater peace like how his master wants him to be because the world was always doomed to suffer. Pointing against Pain angrily, Naruto claimed his hypocrisy like how he claimed to strive for peace. But unfortunately, whatever he did included the destruction of leaves which was the opposite of peace.

After all this, Naruto decided to form a Rasenshuriken on his hand. Ko Hyuga informs Sakura. He knew how dangerous Jutsu was to Naruto. Naruto throws a Rasenshuriken at the opponent to surprise them. 

Highlights of the Episodes

The most amazing thing was Naruto making an entrance to the Hidden Leaf who came stronger. In this event, Naruto got a makeover in which he got new eyes like a Sage mode.

Toads were accompanying him, and Naruto was seen standing over a toad, who is also on top of a toad. All the toads in that episode were well-respected warriors from Mount Myoboku.
