Nezuko is one of the favorite characters of anime fans. She is a pivotal character in the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. It is very popular among anime fans with its huge world and characters. Nezuko is one of the most popular and well-known characters in the series.
She is the only survivor of demons with her brother Tanjiro. Although, she is still struggling with becoming a demon and retaining her humanity. She was a normal human before, later she was attacked and transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji.
Nezuko’s birthday is on 28th December and she is 12 years old.
What Does Nezuko Look like?
Nezuko is a petite girl. She has fair skin, visibly large, prominent fangs, and sharp stiletto nails with a base color of light pink and ombre fading to a red-pinkish color at the end where they point. She has long, black, and wavy. She has soft-looking, pale pink eyes, slanted downwards towards the sides of her face and framed by notably long eyelashes.
She wears a light pink kimono with an asanoha pattern, with a lining of pale pink color. It is secured with a red and white checkered hanhaba obi with an orange threaded obijime and a green obiage.
She also wears a small pink ribbon on the left side of her head to keep her hair away from her face. A bamboo muzzle is also secured around her jaws with a strip of red cloth. Giyu Tomioka gave her the bamboo muzzle.
Personality of Nezuko
As a human Nezuko was a kind and caring girl. She always [put others before herself like her older brother. She was a responsible girl to her younger siblings before.
But after turning into a demon, she forgets all good things about herself except her family. Thus, she doesn’t retain the exact personality she had before transforming into a demon. She remains kind and caring to those who she sees as her family members. This is only possible with the influence of Sakonji Urokodaki when she was asleep for two years.
After becoming a demon, Nezuko appears to become rather brazen and does not seem to fear fighting. She protects her brother and allies. She has strong determination and willpower. This feature of her is seen in her refusal of consuming human flesh or blood even in intense pain or injury.
Capabilities of Nezuko
Nezuko is not a member of Twelve Kizuki but still, she is counted among the most powerful demons. Her best feature or prominent trait is her extraordinary growth rate which is possible because she has received an ample amount of blood from Muzan Kibutsuji. The moment when Muzan turned Nezuko into a demon, he gave her enough blood that she will never have to consume human blood for her survival.
In many battles, it was seen that she could defeat her enemies easily even after being overwhelmed by them in the beginning. She increases her own capabilities before defeating her enemies. She also enhances her regeneration or develops her own Blood demon art in dire situations.
After being a young demon, Nezuko fantastically showed her capabilities and skills in battles. She overpowered the Temple Demon or the Swamp demons. Nezuko’s accelerated growth is also equal to the incredible growth rate of her brother Tanjiro. With this growth rate, she could take over the members of the Twelve Kizuki and match Upper-Rank demons in a month. She has a unique trait that makes her different from the rest of the Kizuki is that she can conquer the sun.
